Biography:
Diana Saenger is the entertainment editor for the East County Gazette, a senior writer for Script Magazine and operates her own syndicate and online site called Review Express.
An award-winning journalist, Diana has won numerous awards with California Media Professionals, San Diego Press Club and the National Federation of Press Women ten years in a row. This year’s California state awards include a 1st place for her Website, a 1st place for reviews, a 1st place for POWs of the Vietnam War, and a 1st place for GLORY: A Nation’s Spirit Defeats the Attack on America.
Diana is co-president of So. California Media Professionals, past president of the San Diego Film Critic’s Society, the author of POWs of the Vietnam War, Lucent Books and author of Everyone Wants My Job: the ABC's of Entertainment Writing, Piccadilly Books, LTD. She teaches a "Two Thumbs Up" class about writing reviews every summer at Grossmont's College For Kids program in San Diego.
As the president of SANDS Publishing, Diana and her company gained national media attention in 2001 (including a book appearance on the Rosie O’Donnell TV show) with GLORY: A Nation’s Spirit Defeats the Attack on America, a book SANDS published only seven weeks after the 9/11 attack.
