ReelTalk Movie Reviews
That's Horrortainment!
by Betty Jo Tucker

Actress Rosemary Gore and Mad Movie Man A.J. Hakari will reveal their choices for “the greatest horror movie of all time” on a special Halloween episode of “Movie Addict Headquarters” scheduled for Tuesday, October 27. Results of a survey on this topic will also be announced.

Rosemary and A.J. are favorite MAHQ guests, and they each boast excellent credentials for this timely discussion. Rosemary has appeared in such horror films as Fear of the Dark, The Tenement, Sins of the Fathers, Baby Doll and Hellraiser III.  A.J. is the horror expert for ReelTalk Movie Reviews and writes film critiques for various other sites, including Terror Tube. It will be interesting to see if Rosemary and A.J. agree about which film deserves recognition as the greatest horror movie ever made. Here are some of the worthy candidates:

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Frankenstein (starring Boris Karloff)

The Shining (starring Jack Nicholson)

The Exorcist

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original)

Rosemary’s Baby

The Thing

Psycho (the original)

Alien

Nosferatu

Night of the Living Dead

Halloween (the original)

Jaws

Amityville Horror (the original)

The Omen (starring Gregory Peck)

Friday the 13th

Nightmare on Elm Street

Dracula (starring Frank Langella)

Little Shop of Horrors

Plan 9 from Outer Space (just kidding!)

This special BlogTalkRadio show airs for 45 minutes at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time) on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. During the live show, listeners are invited to call in and to participate in a chat. An archived segment will also be available.
