Film Comedies: The Best & the Funniest
by Betty Jo Tucker

What are the best film comedies ever made? That’s one of the questions to be explored on the next “Movie Addict Headquarters” show. On Tuesday, April 15, Mad Movie Man A.J. Hakari and John P. McCarthy from Cineman Syndicate plan to join my producer Nikki Starr and me for a lively discussion about movie comedies. This BlogTalkRadio show will air from 4 to 4:30 p.m Eastern Time, and an archived segment will be available after the live broadcast. Listeners are invited to call 646-478-5668 during the show or to take part in the live chat.

A free copy of my humorous memoir, Confessions of a Movie Addict, will be given away in a drawing connected to this particular show. “If Oscars were given away for the funniest book of the year, Confessions of a Movie Addict would win hands down,” wrote James Colt Harrison, editor of National Film PreVue magazine, in his review of my “life story with everything but the movie stuff edited out.”

Questions to be covered on BlogTalkRadio’s tribute to film comedies include:

Which directors, writers, and actors usually succeed in making entertaining movie comedies?

What are the five best film comedies of all time?

Are there any interesting trends in recent comedies?

Which upcoming movie comedies look promising?

What’s the worst film comedy ever made?
