This talented actress has entertained her many fans for almost five decades. She earned two Best Actress Oscars – one for Norma Rae and another for Places in the Heart. She also received an Academy Award nomination for her work in Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln. Her resume includes eleven Golden Globe nominations, eight Emmy nominations and seven Screen Actors Guild nominations. Field’s recent performance in Hello, My Name Is Doris has won widespread acclaim from both fans and critics. Will Field win another Oscar for her latest movie role?
Field has played opposite A-list leads like Paul Newman, Tom Hanks, Kevin Kline, James Garner, Burt Reynolds and Robin Williams. She can do both comedy and drama equally well. Her list of movies includes such varied films as Soapdish, Murphy’s Romance, Smokey and the Bandit, Mrs. Doubtfire, Punchline, The End, Steel Magnolias, Norma Rae, Places in the Heart, Forrest Gump, Kiss Me Goodbye.
