On March 29, noted critic and film historian James Colt Harrison steps into the spotlight on Movie Addict Headquarters. And it’s about time! James has been one of the show’s favorite guests from the very beginning. Calling himself “the world’s oldest living teen-age movie fan,” he has contributed to some of the most popular episodes including tributes to such classics as The Shawshank Redemption, Gone with the Wind and Singin’ in the Rain as well as to legendary movie stars like Tony Curtis, Mickey Rooney, and Debbie Reynolds. But this time, James will be sharing his reactions about current and upcoming attractions. On the agenda for this episode are:
Hello My Name Is Doris
Remember
Knight of Cups
Eye in the Sky
Allegiant
The Huntsman: Winter’s War
Alice Through the Looking Glass
Trolls
One of the founders of the San Diego Film Critics Society, James served as the premiere film critic for The La Jolla Village News and has written a history of Hollywood movie studios. He has also contributed reviews and commentary to a variety of outlets including Classic Movie Guide, Review Express, Rage Monthly, No Cover Music Magazine and San Diego Metro Weekly
James always combines his humor and knowledge of cinema together in a very entertaining way -- which is why he enlivens every discussion about movies. Don’t miss this one, movie fans!
