On July 1, Movie Addict HQ welcomes film critic and author Nell Minow, the famous Movie Mom, who will discuss her upcoming book Must-See Movies: Teachers. Nell also plans to reveal her Top Five Movies about teachers as well as which actors she believes have delivered the best and worst performances as a teacher on film.
Nell writes film commentary for Beliefnet and is the author of several other film-related books, including 50 Must-See Movies: Fathers, 50 Must-See Movies: Mothers, 50 Must-See Movies: Weddings, 100 Must-See Movie Moments, and The Movie Mom’s Guide to Family Entertainment. Her articles have appeared in such publications as the Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Family Fun, Parents, and Slate.
Mack Bates, a film critic and frequent MAHQ guest, serves as co-host for this episode. Mack writes freelance articles for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and serves as a staff blogger for Milwaukee Magazine’s official film blog.
