On June 24, award-winning filmmaker Christian de Rezendes joins Movie Addict Headquarters for a discussion of his unique documentary and narrative movies. Christian’s impressive film background includes experience as a director, cinematographer, editor, producer, actor and writer. His diverse filmography includes such offerings as Getting Out of Rhode Island, Cat Scratch, Memories for Sale, 41, Branches, Raising Matty Christian, Revealed, and Slatersville: America’s First Mill Village, which is now in production.
Christian’s movies have earned acclaim at a variety of film festivals. Among the awards for his outstanding work are the following::

● Certificate of Merit from the Chicago International Film Festival for Branches
● Audience Award as Best Short Film from the Sene Music and Arts Festival for Memories for Sale

Christian, born and raised in Rhode Island, has lived most of his life there. He attended Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts, where he studied theatre. He also studied theater in London under Roger Williams University, out of Bristol, Rhode Island. He attended New York University for a summer, and graduated from Rhode Island College with a B.A. in Film Studies.
