Tim Perell, President of Process Media, drops by Movie Addict Headquarters on May 27th to talk about his experience as a producer of such excellent movies as Last Chance Harvey and The Love Punch. Both films star Oscar winner Emma Thompson. Dustin Hoffman, another Oscar winner, co-stars as Harvey in the first film, and Pierce Brosnan plays her ex-husband in the latter movie, which opened on May 23rd.

Perell started as an A&R scout for Warner Bros. Records, has read for Miramax, and co-founded Eureka Pictures in 1995. He also earned a Master’s Degree at the Royal College of Art in London, where he produced seven short films. He received an Independent Spirit Producer Award for Shortbus (with co-producer Harvey Gertler).
