Film critics Mack Bates,  A.J. Hakari and Diana Saenger drop by Movie Addict Headquarters on March 4th to rant and rave about the Oscar results announced at the 86th Annual Academy Awards telecast on March 2. Topics to be covered include: surprises at this year’s Oscar show; favorite moments from the telecast; worst moments from the show; best/worst acceptance speeches; fashion reactions; and Ellen DeGeneres as Oscar host. This roundtable is part of BlogTalkRadio's 2014 Awards Season Network presentations.

Our distinguished roundtable participants are eminently qualified for this discussion. They share a passion for movies and an ability to talk about films in a candid and engaging way. Diana is the entertainment editor for San Diego’s East County Gazette as well as editor of Classic Movie Guide and Review Express. She’s won numerous awards for her perceptive film-related articles and her New Year’s Eve Club romance novelette. Diana is also the author of Everyone Wants My Job: The ABCs of Entertainment Writing.

Mack writes freelance articles for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and serves as a staff blogger for Milwaukee Magazine’s official film blog. He recently received a local Emmy for his work on the The Robert and Rosie Show, one of the projects he worked on for the Milwaukee Summer Entertainment Camp. 

A.J., aka the Mad Movie Man, contributes film reviews to sites like Classic Movie Guide, Review Express, Terror Tube,  ReelTalk Movie Reviews and his own popular blog Cineslice.
