On June 11, Movie Addict HQ gets ready for Father’s Day with a discussion about “Fathers on Film.” Noted film critics A.J. Hakari and Nell Minow will share their picks for the Top Five movies about dads as well as which actors have delivered the best and worst performances as a father on film. Minow, the famous Movie Mom, writes film commentary for Beliefnet, and is currently working on her new book Must-See Movies: Fathers. She is also the author of 50 Must-See Movies: Mothers; 100 Must-See Movie Moments; and The Movie Mom’s Guide to Family Entertainment. Her articles have appeared in such publications as the Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Family Fun, Parents, and Slate. Hakari, aka The Mad Movie Man, has contributed film reviews to a number of sites including Classic Movie Guide, Review Express, ReelTalk Movie Reviews, and Terror Tube. He’s also the founder of Passport Cinema and Cineslice, his popular new blog.
