Rick Yune: Villain to Hero

Rising star Rick Yune joined Movie Addict HQ on November 20th to dicuss playing a chilling James Bond villain in Die Another Day and a dashing hero in The Man with the Iron Fists.

In The Man with the Iron Fists, he displays his sculpted good looks while portraying a heroic character who uses his astonishing martial arts skills to help destroy a traitor. In this epic story of 19th century China, Yune’s co-stars are Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu and RZA.

In his upcoming film Olympus Has Fallen, Yune portrays a central member of the South Korean delegation that goes into the White House where the President of the U.S. (Aaron Eckhart) and key members of his administration are taken hostage. This film is scheduled for release in 2013.

Yune practices various martial arts, even reaching Olympic standard in Taekwondo and becoming a contender for the U.S. team.
