SDFCS Names 'The Artist' Best Picture

The Artist, a black-and-white French film that pays homage to silent movies earned the San Diego Film Critics Society award as Best Picture of 2011.

The four other nominees for this honor were: Drive, Hugo, The Tree of Life, and Midnight in Paris. Results were announced on Wednesday, December 14, 2011.
