STAR TREK Memories
by Betty Jo Tucker

Movie Addict Headquarters celebrates the 45th Anniversary of Star Trek by visiting with Stephen Schochet, author of  Hollywood Stories. Stephen promises to entertain listeners on October 18th with revealing anecdotes about the popular film franchise and iconic TV series.

As a Hollywood tour guide, Stephen began doing research years ago in order to tell colorful tales about Tinseltown to his customers -- and most of these tales are included in his fascinating book. Stephen also hosts a syndicated one minute radio feature called Hollywood Stories.

How did Star Trek come to be?

What lengths was Leonard Nimoy willing to go to in relieving the ear pain as Spock?

How controversial was TV’s first kiss between Kirk and Uhura?

How was Lucille Ball involved in the TV series?

What was involved in the Kirk/Spock feud – and how did the other actors feel about Shatner?

Why has Star Trek achieved such worldwide success?

Those are among the questions Stephen will be answering during his interview, which airs at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time) on BlogTalkRadio. During the live show, listeners are invited to call in and to participate in a Chat. An archived segment will also be available.

Morgan Lawrence, author of The Streets Ran Red, will be the guest co-host for this special episode.
