His first nationwide acclaim came in 1996 for his role in Fargo as Marge Gunderson’s simple husband Norm. Since then, John has chosen to play very interesting and diverse roles in such movies as Zodiac, Gran Torino, Shutter Island, and Paul as well as in television shows like The Drew Carey Show and Carnivale. John can currently be seen in TV’s Body of Proof, and his upcoming movie Crazy Stupid Love is scheduled for release in July.
