Funnyman Will Sasso
by
Will Sasso, the MADtv vet, visits Movie Addict Headquarters on March 1st to talk about his acting experience in films and on television. Sasso, who has appeared in over 25 feature films including Life As We Know It, Happy Gilmore, Best in Show, and Drop Dead Gorgeous, stars with William Shatner on the CBS new comedy series $#*! My Dad Says.
Most recently, Sasso showcased his famous improv skills in Life as We Know It alongside Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel as their supportive and hilarious neighbor. The infamous “Will’s Man Tips” he tweets on his Twitter are also hilarious -- as is his website (www.hamfatter.com).
$#* My Dad Says has repeatedly been first in its time slot since it started airing and just won a People’s Choice Award for Best New Comedy. Sasso shines as “Vince,” the son of outspoken and opinionated “Ed Goodson” (Shatner), who unapologetically relishes in expressing his outlandish and often wildly politically incorrect observations aloud for anyone to hear. Will is also reunited with his fellow MADtv alumni Nicole Sullivan, who plays his wife and business partner.
Best known for starring on five seasons of FOX’s hit sketch comedy series MADtv, Sasso became a staple in late-night comedy, entertaining audiences with his offbeat impressions including Bill Clinton, Tony Soprano, Kenny Rogers, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steven Seagal and Randy Newman. He also appeared alongside fellow comedians Andy Dick and Sherri Shephard. in the ABC sitcom Less than Perfect.
Will Sasso’s interview airs on BlogTalkRadio at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time) on Tuesday, March 1st. During the live broadcast, listeners are invited to participate in a chat. An archived segment will also be available, and the show will be rebroadcast by WRSP936.COM on Friday, March 4, at 5 p.m. Eastern Time.
