Beth Littleford: Comic Actress
by
Get ready to laugh with the amusing, hilarious and intelligent Beth Littleford, who plans to drop by Movie Addict Headquarters on February 22nd to talk about her role in the upcoming Steve Carell film Crazy Stupid Love as well as other highlights of her showbiz career. Beth stars as the sexually charged “Suzanne Berger” on the hit MTV scripted series The Hard Times of RJ Berger (which will return for its second season March 28th). On the big screen, Beth has appeared in Judd Apatow's Drillbit Taylor with Owen Wilson, David E. Kelley's Mystery, Alaska with Russell Crowe and PJ Hogan's Unconditional Love.
Beth won widespread notoriety during her four years on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart for filing stories on people like the matchmaker for the Militia movement, and the inventor of the Bulge, the Wonder Bra for men. She also hosted several of her own half-hour interview series The Beth Littleford Interview Specials where she boogied with Boy George, shoveled manure with Minnesota Governor Jesse "the Body" Ventura, and told David Cassidy he'd paved the way for acts to follow, like MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice and Milli Vanilli.
Beth left The Daily Show for network television, spending two years on ABC's Spin City stalking Alan Ruck, impersonating Heather Locklear and sexually harassing Michael J. Fox. In 2004, she landed a starring role in Fox's Method and Red. In its review of the show, Entertainment Weekly said "The Daily Show's whip-smart Beth Littleford is squirmingly good."
Beth’s favorite role, however, is being a mother to her 5-year-old son, Jackson. This full time mom is one of the coolest on the block, boogie boarding and video games are just a few of the activities that she and Jackson spend time doing together. She is currently developing material for a new one woman show, A Letter to My Son’s Future Therapist.
