Holiday Film Update
by
Nell Minow, the famous Movie Mom, returns to Movie Addict Headquarters on November 30th for a discussion of 2010 holiday films. Which releases are the most promising? What films are best bets for the entire family? Nell, who never pulls her punches, will fill us in on what to expect at the multiplex and on DVD during this holiday season. A.J. Hakari, the Mad Movie Man, who serves as DVD correspondent for Movie Addict Headquarters, will also share his candid reactions to upcoming holiday offerings.
Writing as “The Movie Mom,” Nell Minow has been featured in The Chicago Sun-Times, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune, Parents, Family Fun and other publications. She’s been profiled by The New York Times, The Economist, Forbes, The Chicago Tribune and Ladies Home Journal. Her book, The Movie Mom’s Guide to Family Movies, has helped parents everywhere select safe and fun entertainment for their children. On the Beliefnet channel, Minow provides reviews, quizzes, tips and advice about which movies, DVDs, television programs and Internet sites are most appropriate for children of varying ages.
