Harry Potter Tribute
by
In honor of the Harry Potter film franchise, which is heading for its last two cinematic adventures, Movie Addict Headquarters has scheduled a tribute to the HP movies released prior to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. As host of the show, I’m eager to share my personal reactions to these wonderful fantasy flicks on our November 16th episode. Producer Nikki Starr and co-host Jazz Shaw join me in encouraging listeners to participate with us in our Chat Room during this special show. Discussion will focus on favorite Harry Potter films and characters.
Because so many colorful characters fill the screen in these movies, it’s difficult to pick a favorite. Here are some leading candidates:
Professor Severus Snape (Alan Rickman)
Headmistress Minerva McGonagall (Maggie Smith)
Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane)
Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton)
Headmaster Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon)
Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter)
Sirius Black (Gary Oldman)
Fluffy
Gilderoy Lockhart (Kenneth Branagh)
Professor Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton)
Professor Sybil Trelawney (Emma Thompson)
Lucius Malfoy (Jason Isaacs)
Alastor “Mad Eye” Moody (Brendan Geeson)
Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe)
Hermione Granger (Emma Watson)
Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint)
Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright)
Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes)
Choosing a favorite Harry Potter film can also be a problem for many viewers. Below are titles of the six movies released before Deathly Hallows.
HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER’S STONE (2001)
HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS (2002)
HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN (2004)
HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE (2005)
HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX (2007)
HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE (2009)
Our Harry Potter tribute airs Tuesday, November 16, at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time) on BlogTalkRadio. An archived segment will also be available for your listening pleasure.
