Filmmakers Marilyn Agrelo and Brian Cange plan to join the Movie Addict Headquarters gang for a “Mad Hot Ballroom Rewind” discussion on Tuesday, August 3. Marilyn and Brian are two of the people responsible for a wonderful 2005 documentary showcasing the New York Public School’s dance competition for youngsters. They will talk about their experiences relating to Mad Hot Ballroom and other film projects plus any plans for follow-up activities resulting from the growing popularity of dance nationwide. With National Dance Day scheduled during the weekend before the show, this discussion should be a timely one. Denise Cassino, publicist extraordinaire, will also be on board to announce a Book Launch for the Kindle edition of the award-winning E-Book It Had To Be Us.

Marilyn Agrelo directed Mad Hot Ballroom and has also served as a collaborating director on Reel American Youth. Her new film, An Invisible Sign, stars Jessica Alba and J.K. Simmons.

Brian Cange was line producer for Mad Hot Ballroom and has experience as a co-producer or production manager for a number of films including The Skeptic, The Drum Beats Twice, and The Lovers. He directed Smash the Kitty, a film which Marilyn co-produced. Brian’s upcoming movie is titled Particle Fever.

Denise Cassino heads up the Long Story Short Publishing Company and also offers impressive promotional services through her Wizardly Web Designs site.
