Another Look at Ingrid Bergman
by
April is Nostalgia Month on Movie Addict Headquarters, so it’s only fitting that on Tuesday, April 13, the life and movies of legendary actress Ingrid Bergman will be re-examined. Entertainment journalist Diana Saenger, founder and editor of Classic Movie Guide, joins the discussion to share her reactions to Ingrid Bergman: A Personal Biography by Charlotte Chandler. Results of a survery concerning favorite Bergman films/performances will be announced during this show.
Bergman’s private life may have been tainted by scandal, but her wonderful movies live on as a reminder of her remarkable acting talent. Who can forget her acclaimed performances in such terrific films as Casablanca, Joan of Arc, Gaslight, Notorious, Spellbound and Murder on the Orient Express?
In addition to Diana Saenger’s Classic Movie Guide responsibilities, she serves as the entertainment editor for San Diego’s East County Gazette and as the editor of ReviewExpress.com. She is also the author of Everyone Wants My Job: The ABCs of Entertainment Writing. A frequent and popular guest on Movie Addict Headquarters, Diana also contributes film reviews to ReelTalkReviews.com.
The revealing pre-taped segment with Diana will be followed by a live discussion with the Movie Addict Headquarters gang. This show airs on BlogTalkRadio at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time).
Listeners are invited to participate in a live chat during the show, and an archived segment will be available afterwards.
