Henry Jaglom: His Films & Plays
by
Celebrated film auteur Henry Jaglom will drop by Movie Addict Headquarters on Tuesday, September 29, to discuss his experience as an independent filmmaker and playwright. Jaglom is best known for movies that put women front and center and include scenes of people engaging in intelligent conversations, both of which buck the Hollywood trend. Jaglom’s films include Eating, Irene in Time, and Last Summer in the Hamptons. His new play, Just 45 Minutes from Broadway -- starring the exciting Tanna Frederick -- premieres on October 17, at the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica, California.
Jaglom’s other plays include the award-winning Room 322, A Safe Place -- his debut theatre piece first written for the Actor’s Studio, later made into a film with Jack Nicholson, Tuesday Weld and Orson Welles -- and Always, but Not Forever, his adaptation of his 1985 film of the same name.
This 45-minute BlogTalkRadio show airs at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 29. During the live show, listeners are invited to call the show and to participate in a live chat. An archived segment will also be available.
