Alfred Hitchcock Tribute
by
Iconic filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock receives a special tribute from Movie Addict Headquarters on Tuesday, August 25, thereby becoming the first director inducted into the MAHQ Screen Legends Hall of Fame. Film historian James Colt Harrison and Classic Movie Guide founder Diana Saenger join this discussion of Hitchcock’s great movies and the reasons behind his remarkable success.
Both Harrison and Saenger are knowledgeable and passionate about classic films. They recently served as panel members at Robert Osborne’s Classic Film Festival. Harrison, the premier film critic for La Jolla Village News, has written a complete history of the early Hollywood studios and is currently working on a book about the subject. Saenger, the entertainment editor for San Diego’s East County Gazette, is also the author of Everyone Wants My Job: The ABCs of Entertainment Writing.
