One of filmdom’s most prolific character actors, William Sanderson has appeared in over 100 movies and television shows, including Blade Runner, Coal Miner’s Daughter, Stanley’s Gig, The Client, The Bob Newhart Show, and Deadwood. He’s currently cast as the sheriff in TV’s True Blood and was recently featured in the The Face Is Familiar, a Starz documentary about America’s versatile character actors.

Sanderson’s fascinating interview for Movie Addict Headquarters is scheduled to air next Tuesday (July 7) on BlogTalkRadio. Topics covered by this remarkable actor include:

His favorite movie and television roles.

His philosophy of acting and how he prepares for his roles.

Directors and actors who influenced him the most.

Interesting behind-the-scenes incidents during filming on various projects.

His work with Ridley Scott, Tommy Lee Jones, Susan Sarandon, Bob Newhart, etc.
