“Movie Addict Headquarters” has established a Screen Legends Hall of Fame as a way of honoring outstanding cinema contributions in a variety of areas. The first inductees are scheduled to be ushered into the Legendary Actress Division next Tuesday, April 7, at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on BlogTalkRadio.
Film historian James Colt Harrison and Diana Saenger from Classic Movie Guide will be on board for a discussion concerning these honorees, which include Bette Davis, Jean Harlow, Marilyn Monroe, Ingrid Bergman, Marlene Dietrich and Rita Hayworth.
The best films and performances of each actress plus other background information will be discussed on this special BlogTalkRadio show. Suggestions for future honorees will also be presented.
Harrison, the premier film critic for La Jolla Village News, has written a complete history of the early Hollywood studios and is currently working on a book about the subject. Saenger, the entertainment editor for San Diego’s East County Gazette, is also the author of Everyone Wants My Job: The ABCs of Entertainment Writing. Both guests recently served as panelists at Robert Osborne’s Fifth Annual Classic Film Festival.
