APRIL 3:

Adventureland. Working in an amusement park turns out to be more than expected for a recent college graduate. Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart and Ryan Reynolds add their talents to the comic proceedings.

Fast & Furious. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker return for the fourth movie in this action-packed, fast-paced franchise.

Gigantic. Romance, comedy and plans to adopt a Chinese baby combine in this limited-release film starring Paul Dano and Zooey Deschanel.

APRIL 10:

Hannah Montana: The Movie. Miley takes a trip to a small town in Tennessee, hoping to find out what matters most in life. Is being the ultra-popular Hannah Montana becoming too much for Miley? 

Observe and Report. Stopping a flasher is the goal of odd couple Seth Rogan and Ray Liotta in this comedy written and directed by Jody Hill of The Foot Fist Way fame. 

Dragonball Evolution. Justin Chatwin, Yun-Fat Chow and Emmy Rossum star in this sci-fi fantasy about the collection of seven magical orbs that grant unlimited powers.

Case 39. Can a social worker save a young girl from abusive parents and other horrors? If played by Renee Zellweger, you know she’ll try her best. Ian McShane, Bradley Cooper and Jodelle Ferland also appear in key roles.

APRIL 17:

Is Anybody There? Starring Michael Caine as a retired magician who reluctantly enters an old age home, this promising film focuses on a friendship between Caine's character and the troubled young son of the home's owners. With Michael Caine, fans like me always expect a bit of magic, so this movie is a must-see for us.           

Crank: High Voltage. Jason Statham returns as Chev Chelios, and this time his almost indestructible heart has been stolen and replaced by one requiring regular jolts of electricity. Don’t you hate it when that happens? Still, plenty of action should ensue here.

17 Again. How would you like to wake up one day and find yourself changed into a teenager? In this fantasy comedy, Matthew Perry’s character faces such a bizarre situation -- and, as a teen, he’s played by Zac Efron.    

State of Play. What a cast -- Russell Crowe, Helen Mirren, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright Penn, Jason Bateman, Viola Davis and Jeff Daniels are among the actors in this crime thriller about reporters and detectives trying to solve the murder of a congressman’s mistress.

APRIL 22:

Earth. This documentary is the film version of TV’s Planet Earth. It follows the migration paths of four animal families.  

APRIL 24:

Obsessed. Beyonce, Idris Elba and Ari Larter star in this dramatic thriller about an attractive temp employee stalking a married man. 

Fighting. Underground street fighting forms the backdrop for this action movie co-starring Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard as a young fighter and his manager, respectively. 

The Soloist. Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. pair up as a homeless musician and his benefactor in this poignant human interest drama. I smell Oscars, don’t you?

Tyson. A documentary about the life experiences of Mike Tyson.
