Debbie Reynolds has been entertaining audiences and making them laugh for over half a century – and she’s still doing 42 live shows a year! But, since the 1960s, the project closest to Debbie’s heart has been the collection and preservation of Hollywood memorabilia, culminating in her Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.

On Tuesday, July 22, “Movie Addict Headquarters” will pay tribute to Debbie, her movies, live shows, museum and fans. Todd Fisher, Debbie’s son and director of the Hollywood Motion Picture Museum, will join producer Nikki Starr and me for this special BlogTalkRadio show -- as will James Colt Harrison, premier film critic for the La Jolla Village News and author of a history of MGM and Twentieth Century Fox.

Fisher plans to bring listeners up to date on the status of  the Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum and its new location on Belle Island in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Harrison, who writes film commentary for a variety of outlets in addition to the La Jolla Village news -- including Rage Monthly, No Cover Music Magazine and San Diego Metro Weekly -- says he's "very excited" about the opportunity to discuss his favorite Debbie Reynolds films and performances.  

With over 70 films and television shows to her credit, Debbie Reynolds is one of America’s hardest-working and most beloved entertainers. She earned an Oscar nomination for her brilliant performance in The Unsinkable Molly Brown and a Tony nomination for her fine stage work in Irene. Among Debbie’s most popular films are The Tender Trap, How the West Was Won, The Gazebo, Tammy and the Bachelor, The Singing Nun, Divorce American Style and The Mating Game. Her television appearances include important roles in Will and Grace and Kim Possible. Debbie’s many fans love to see her in the exuberant live shows she performs in various venues throughout the U.S. She is truly a national treasure!
