by
Will The Dark Knight achieve blockbuster status? On the next “Movie Addict Headquarters” radio show, film critics Diana Saenger and Mad Movie Man A.J. Hakari will join my producer Nikki Starr and me for a discussion about the new Batman Begins sequel and the status of this summer’s blockbuster movies.
This BlogTalkRadio show airs on Tuesday, July 15, at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Listeners are invited to call-in with questions or comments and to participate in a live chat during the show. The call-in number is 646-478-5668. An archived segment will also be available.
Topics to be covered on the July 15th show include: a sneak preview of The Dark Knight; definition of a “blockbuster” movie; films that have already achieved blockbuster status so far this summer; predictions concerning which upcoming summer movies will become blockbusters or classics; and 2008 summer movies that have already bombed at the box office.
Both Diana Saenger and A. J. Hakari contribute regularly to ReelTalkReviews.com and have created popular movie websites of their own. Saenger, author of Everyone Wants My Job: The ABC’s of Entertainment Writing, operates ClassicMovie Guide.com and ReviewExpress.com. Hakari, who hosts the Mad Movie Man talk show at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls during the school year, is the founder of PassportCinema.com, a site devoted exclusively to foreign films.
