Meet Filmmaker/Composer Vohn Regensburger
by
Composer Vohn Regensburger makes an impressive debut as both a writer and director for the big screen with Last of the Romantics, one of the most unusual love stories ever filmed. Happily, this versatile filmmaker has agreed to take listeners behind the scenes of his award-winning movie on BlogTalkRadio’s “Movie Addict Headquarters” show scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Listeners are invited to call in with questions or comments. The call-in number is 646-478-5668.
Regensburger’s upcoming appearance on BlogTalkRadio is quite timely, for this past weekend he traveled from Denver to New York City to pick up three awards for Last of the Romantics from the New York International Independent Film Festival: Best Feature Film, Best Director, and Best Actress (Brittany Daniel). Regensburger’s movie also won Best Romance Feature at the Hollywood HD Festival, and Regensburger was nominated for the Best Film Score at Moondance.
A composer of many genres and styles, Regensburger has written various works in classical, choral, jazz, Brazilian guitar, and film music. Combining his passion for both music and movies, Regensburger offers viewers a haunting cinematic experience while watching Last of the Romantics. Focusing on the obsession of a failed composer who worries about what kind of legacy he will leave the world, the film emerges as a fascinating look at the power of mystical connections and beautiful music.
