The Never-Ending Sequel
by
Once upon a time
four friends were there
with concerns galore
for clothes, shoes and hair.
The men in their lives
took second place
to fashion plus goop
they put on their face.
One of the gals liked to
make sex a game
and brag to her pals
without any shame.
The three other gals
left hubbies with ease
to travel with her
far away to the East.
Splendor and pampering
pleased them while there.
Yet danger lurked
for those who go bare!
Did friendship save
these four best buds?
Did folks at home
forgive their flubs?
Maybe I’m clueless,
but I can’t comprehend
why a sequel like this
took so long to end.
(Released by New Line Cinema and rated “R” for some strong sexual content and language.)
