Deep in the Heart of Texas
by
There's The Good Girl, giving her hair a twirl,
deep in the heart of Texas.
Retail Rodeo is her only place to go,
deep in the heart of Texas.
A dead-end job, married to a slob,
stuck in the heart of Texas.
Getting on in age, working for a low wage,
hating the heart of Texas.
Holden is the new guy who catches her eye,
divided heart in Texas.
A romp in a hotel, promising never to tell,
adultery in Texas.
Complications arise to no great surprise,
it's getting hot in Texas.
Full of strong characters, not just hers,
I'm liking it in Texas.
Aniston's the queen of the big screen,
in this film of Texas.
It's not Ed, but something decent instead,
set in the heart of Texas.
Jake Gyllenhaal is strapping and tall,
Bubble Boy takes Texas.
Morality tale on a subdued scale,
sinners abound in Texas.
Holes exist, cliches they couldn't resist,
it's not perfect in Texas.
After starting strong, the middle plods along,
moseying through Texas.
But if I had my way, I'd still have to say,
give three stars to Texas.
